Women's Bible Study

Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry at Bethel strives to encourage and equip women in their Christian walk. We offer various women’s events throughout the year ranging from fun fellowship to projects that allow the women of Bethel to serve others. One of the most popular aspects of Women’s Ministry is Bible Study. Each week, more than a hundred women gather to pray, study and encourage each other in the faith. Bible Studies are offered Tuesday mornings from 9:00- 11:30am and evening studies are Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.

We offer two tracks for women during the year:

The Amazing Collection:
Whether you are new to Bible study or have read God’s Word for years, this study is for all women at every stage in life! TAC takes you on a three-year journey through the Bible. Each week small groups of women gather to study and discuss an overview of a book of the Bible. Year One covers Genesis – Song of Solomon, Year Two covers Isaiah – John and Year Three covers Acts – Revelation. We offer all three years at once and suggest women new to Bethel begin with Year One.

Pursuit (Soul):
This two-year, rotating study is for graduates of The Amazing Collection and is based on the greatest commandment in Mark 12:28-30: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” This semester, we will study loving God with all of our heart using John Piper’s study, “When I Don’t Desire God: How to Fight for Joy.”
