Read the Bible in 2011

Reading through the Bible is a rewarding experience, and especially when everyone at church is reading through it too!

At Bethel, we will begin reading January 1, 2011. So, get ready for the incredible journey of reading through the entire Bible, one day at a time! For our journey through the Bible, we will be utilizing comprehensive online resources available at youversion.com. Many will choose a canonical plan that will start in Genesis on Jan. 1 and end with the last verse in the book of Revelation on Dec. 31, but there are many reading plans available so pick one that works best for you. Bethel’s preferred version is the English Standard Version.

Each daily scripture reading is posted on this site and links to youversion.com to assist you in reading the entire Bible from cover to cover in one year. The readings are usually about three chapters per day. If you choose to use youversion.com, you can pick your translation and read from you computer, or you may choose to download their free application to your mobile device or iPad (click on “Bible Tools” below for more). You may choose to read in the King James Version, the New International Version, the Amplified Version, or Bethel’s preferred version: English Standard Version. We know the Lord will bless you as you give priority to reading the Bible daily.
